A pool with tiles coming away and dark joints spoils an entire garden. And it is a problem that gets worse on its own: where the joint gives way, water seeps behind the tile, and from then on the pieces start coming off in sequence.,We do complete mosaic tiling and epoxy grouting. Epoxy is more expensive and considerably more demanding to apply than ordinary cement grout, but it is not porous: it does not absorb treated water, does not darken with the chemicals and does not let moisture through behind the finish. In a pool, that is the difference between going back in three years and going back in fifteen.

- Mosaic tiling — New mosaic applied to an existing or new pool, including steps and curved areas.
- Epoxy grouting — Removal of the old grout, cleaning of the channels and application of two-part epoxy with an even finish.
- Spot repairs — Replacement of loose or broken tiles matched in tone to the existing ones.
- Waterproofing — Treatment of the substrate before tiling — this is where the leak is fixed, not in the tile.
- Coping and edging — Repair and replacement of coping stones and edge details.
- Deep cleaning — Removal of limescale, metal staining and the waterline mark before handover.

Frequently asked questions
Why are the tiles coming off?
In most cases because the grout lost its seal and water got in behind. It also happens when the adhesive used was not rated for permanent immersion, or when the pool was left empty in the sun for a long time.
Is epoxy really worth it instead of cement?
In a pool, yes. Cement grout is porous: it absorbs treated water, darkens and degrades with chlorine and pH swings. Epoxy does not. It costs more and is more demanding to apply, but it lasts far longer.
How long is the pool out of use?
A full regrout takes around one to two weeks, including the cure before filling. A new finish from scratch takes longer, three to four weeks depending on size.
Can you match the mosaic in my pool?
Often yes, if it is a reference still in production. Where it is not, we propose close alternatives or a deliberate contrast — a different band at the waterline works better than a patch that shows.
How much does it cost to regrout a pool?
It depends on the size and, above all, on the condition of the old grout: the more degraded it is, the longer the removal takes, and that is the longest stage of the job. Epoxy costs more than cement grout, and it is worth the difference.
Can you regrout without draining the pool?
No. The substrate has to be completely dry for the epoxy to bond. Grouting over moisture guarantees the joint will fail before long.
My pool is losing water. Is it the finish?
Not always. It can be the grout, but it can also be pipework, the skimmer, an underwater light or the main drain itself. A simple level test tells you whether the loss is structural or in the circulation before anything is touched.
When is the best time to work on a pool?
Outside the swimming season, between October and April. Besides not losing the use of it in summer, mild temperatures are better for curing the products than the August heat.
