Pool joint repair
A localised repair to a pool joint, before the degradation forces a complete new finish.
Not every pool with degraded grout needs a new finish. Where the problem is localised and the mosaic still holds well, working on the joint solves it and costs a fraction.
The test is straightforward: if the surrounding pieces ring solid and the grout degradation is contained, you repair. If they ring hollow across a patch, the problem is already behind the finish and patching the joint would only put it off for a short while.
In these cases we tell the client what we found before going ahead, even when the larger job would mean more work invoiced to us.
